Last summer I traveled to Ireland with a couple of my friends from pharmacy school. We flew into Dublin and stayed in an Airbnb that was right in the center of all the excitement. My favorite part of the trip was when we went on a day excursion to the Cliffs of Moher and to the city of Galway which is located in the West of Ireland in a province called Connacht.
The cliffs of Moher is one of the most popular destinations in Ireland. I highly recommend. It’s one of the most photographed sights in all of Ireland and rightfully so. Standing at 214 meters above sea level, these magnificent cliffs plunge into the sea offering spectacular views of the Irish Coast.
Galway is an upbeat city filled with shops and traditional pubs that often offer live Irish folk music.
There are also so many great restaurants where you can experience authentic Irish cuisine. I’ve listed two of my favorite places to eat below!
